Disparekraf - Bank DKI Socializes QRIS and UMKM Capital to Jakpreneurs

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) together with Bank DKI held virtual socialization concerning QRIS and UMKM Capital. As many as 96 UMKM (Small Medium Enterprises) or Jakpreneurs under Jakarta Parekraf Agency have participated in this activity.

We hope this socialization can help them in providing capital information and support UKM's growth in Jakarta

Jakarta Disparekraf Acting Head (Plt), Gumilar Ekalaya conveyed, one of business development in Jakpreneur program is the capital. He appreciated Bank DKI for its commitment to help and support UMKM in Jakarta since Jakpreneur was launched.

"I appreciate and thank Bank DKI for always supporting the integrated entrepreneurship empowerment program, especially for easy access to business funding," he expressed, Friday (10/16).

He assessed, UMKM development has proven it as the main activator in real sector since it gives direct effect on national economic growth.

However, in general, UMKM still experiences various problems and is not yet fully as expected.

"The previous studies stated that UMKM's capital structure, especially in Indonesia, was mostly based on private investment. When they need capital injection from outside parties, they preferred parties other than banks to play an important role, for example, credit bank or even moneylenders," he mentioned.

According to him, problems that still becomes obstacle until this day concerning UMKM business development is the limited capital and difficulty in accessing sources of capital.

"We hope this socialization can help them in providing capital information and support UKM's growth in Jakarta," he closed.
